Veronica Mander Homeopath (Adv.Dip.Hom. ANTA, AROH)
I have always been interested in health and wellbeing. I studied and worked as a nurse for many years. But despite having a great deal of knowledge and first hand experience in this area, I always thought there had to be more to it. The conventional field of medicine just didn’t have all the answers I was looking for.
My first experience with Homeopathy was in 1989. Up until then, I had never heard of it and knew nothing about it. That first first encounter ignited a passion within me and I knew it was going to change my life.
At the time, I had 2 young boys, both with chronic ear/nose/throat infections that quickly disappeared with homeopathic prescribing. I was to further witness one miracle after another. This became the cornerstone from which many changes were to occur in my life.
From that point forward, every childhood illness was successfully dealt with by homeopathic medicines, as well as the myriad of adult illnesses and stresses that we deal with on a daily basis. Even our family dog has also received the benefits of Homeopathy!
Like most people, I have lived through a whole range of different life experiences. I have devoted a great deal of time to reading, researching, studying and applying many different healing modalities. I have also made quite a few lifestyle choices relating to diet and nutrition. This has given me a strong foundation of knowledge and appreciation in this area.
Previously, I had a busy practice in massage therapy and nutritional advice primarily for women and have been involved in Natural Medicine for over 20 years. With two sons and surrounded by nephews, I have also developed an interest in men’s health and this has also become a busy part of my practice.
I love living in Brisbane, it is so close to our magnificent rainforests and beaches, where I spend as much time as possible to recharge and revitalise.
